Bay Area Sports

I grew up in the San Fransisco bay area, and I have a deep endearing love of bay area sports teams. I'm biased a little towards the A's, Warriors, and Niners over the Giants and Raiders.. Whats that? Oh yeah theres a Hockey Team there also. The Shreks or something. Anyway heres a website dedicated to the teams of the bay. Its www.bayballbreakers.com.

The guys that write for this site are witty and insightful. Its a pleasure to read real thoughts from real bay area fans instead of the random drivel that comes spewing forth from the paid media masses. They need to update the sight a little more frequently, but otherwise its a great read whenever its new.

I recommend it to anyone who's into sports. I recommend it more to anyone who's in to bay area sports.

Game Tunnel has announced their list of the Top Ten Indy games of the year. The cool thing about this article is there's links to all of the developers web sites, and since they're indy game most of them are free for download.

When you get to the end of the article there is a list of some of the other category's they gave awards for this year. Each has a link and the top 5 for that category, all the same way as the top ten. Web sites and download links.

If you want to have some fun and kill a little time its a great distraction.

Barry Zito - San Francisco Giant

I love Barry Zito. I've been an A's fan since I was a little kid. Seeing him go across the bridge to the Giants makes me smile since I have a lot of Giants fans back home in the bay. There are a lot of people out there who think Barry skills are going to decline and that the Giants are insane for paying him that kind of money. I think those people are idiots. Barry Zito is a work horse. His daily routine reminds me of Nolan Ryans. This guy could pitch into his 40's if he wants to, and be a dominate force the whole time.

Good luck in the Halloween colors Barry. Us A's fans will sure miss ya.

This guy is doing some very cool stuff with the new Wii remote. He's managed to controll his Roomba with it. It's amazing stuff. Theres a link to the code he used under the video.
